Katherine Ryan (Mock The Week, Live at the Apollo)

Katherine was the 2008 winner of the Nivea Funny Women Awards and is a fresh and bitingly funny addition to UK stand-up.

Katherine made her debut on Channel 4's 8 OUT OF 10 CATS on Friday 4th May and was immediately invited back on the show on Friday 18th May as her appearance was so well received. She appeared again in September and has been asked back for a further episode.

She also filmed two appearance on Jack Dee's new Sky Atlantic panel show DON'T SIT IN THE FRONT ROW and has also appeared on BBC2's MOCK THE WEEK.

Katherine has also been a support act in ANGELOS EPITHEMIOU'S ONE NIGHT STAND for Dave and she also performed a set on Frankie Boyle's THE BOYLE VARIETY SHOW.

She has also appeared in E4's RUSSELL KANE'S COMEDY SUMMIT, was a regular on DIRTY DIGEST and is currently developing material for Channel 4, Monkey Kingdom and STV.

She successfully completed her first solo show LITTLE MISS CONCEPTION at The Pleasance in the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe and in 2012 performed her second solo show NATURE'S CANDY at the Gilded Balloon. While she was in Edinburgh, she appeared on BBC3's live Comedy Marathon (hosted by Andrew Maxwell, Chris Ramsay and Susan Calman) which filmed for 8 hours for BBC3.
